History of Our Company

Our Founder Wade Myers started his real estate career in the early 1990's with a small Century 21 office.  In his first year in real estate he moved to Coldwell Banker TLC Properties who later merged and changed names to Coldwell Banker SCR. He went on to become a top producer not only for his local office but began selling at a very high level that few people ever attain.  Was of the first agents in Columbus to hire an assistant and went on to start a real estate team named Wade Myers Team Advantage.  During the merger between the two Coldwell Banker offices he bought into that company and continued earning top awards for his office as well as becoming one of the top agents in the state of Indiana and the United States.  Wade Currently sits on the Board of Directors and the Professional Standards Boards of the local Columbus Board of Realtors, and is our current CEO.

In 2004 he merged his company Team Advantage with GMAC Real Estate and opened his own office located at 1120 Washington Street in Columbus Indiana.

In November of 2008, GMAC Real Home Services was sold to Brookfield Asset Managment a Canadian Company who also owns Royal LePage Real Estate, La Capitale Real Estate Network and Johnston & Daniel Real Estate Companies.  Together with GMAC Real Estate makes Brookfield and their network the largest real estate companies of North Amarica.

10/02/2009 We Closed the Washington Street office and reopened at 3950 25th Street in the Holiday Shopping Center.  Giving the company better visability in the comunity.

11/17/2009   Brookfield Asset Management purchases Real Living Real Estate and Announces All GMAC offices will merge into the Real Living Brand Name.  And we make the decision to join them in creating one of the largest real estate franchises in the United States.
