| Aging and Community Services of South Central Indiana, Inc. is a non-profit organization providing a wide range of social services to residents of south central Indiana. We are Indiana’s Area 11 Agency on Aging, designated by the Older Americans Act to assist older adults in meeting their needs. We have served the residents of Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson and Jennings counties for more than 30 years. In addition to addressing elder issues, Aging and Community Services sponsors other programs that provide essential services for all ages. For example, you will find such diverse programs as Foster Grandparents, First Steps Early Intervention, Legal Services Long Term Care Ombudsman, and First Call For Help 211 under our umbrella. We work together so that you can find what you need now and for the future. |

| Columbus Area Visitors Center |
| The Columbus Area Visitors Center is located at 506 Fifth Street in the former home of John V. Storey. The home was built in the early 1860s, renovated in 1973 and renovated and expanded in 1995 to its current status. The Visitors Center includes displays about Columbus architecture, a gift shop, the Yellow Neon Chandelier and Persians by world famous glass artist Dale Chihuly and serves as the starting point for city tours, which feature great architecture, public art, gardens and landscaping. The Visitors Center is open year-round Monday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm. The Visitors Center is also open on Sunday, noon to 4:00 p.m, except during the months of December, January, and February. Columbus, Indiana observes Eastern Daylight Time. |
